All frames are manufactured using Kommerling 'Lead free' PVCu profiles which feature an industry leading 20 year colourfast guarantee. Established over a century ago, Kommerling is the first choice for architects across Europe and has been the brand leader in the design and introduction of PVCu windows for over 30 years.
The British Government’s legally binding commitment to reduce green house gases is fully supported by Kommerling. The company has undertaken an extensive testing programme to ensure all its products not only meet, but exceed the stringent requirements of Part L of the Building Regulations. In addition, Kommerling profiles are lead-free and fully degradable making them environmentally friendly.
Our Timberlook PVCu profile has been engineered to replicate traditional timber windows using a fully sculptured ovolo design but with the added feature of low-line glazing gaskets to eliminate those ugly black lines seen on other PVCu window systems.

All windows are fitted with high security locking systems to protect your property against intruder attack.
All windows are fitted with the latest generation PINCER high security locking systems as standard for your security and peace of mind.
Operated by a simple turn of the handle the unique gearbox activates up to four pairs of high strength ‘mushroom pincers’ simultaneously driving each pincer into a double-sided security striker from opposite directions.
This double action locking means that any attempt to force one pincer out of its closed position merely forces the opposing pincers deeper into their strikers, strengthening rather the weakening the system’s security.

To ensure that your new conservatory can be used all year round it is important to specify high performance double glazing that will retain your valuable heat in the winter and reduce solar gain in the summer.
U VALUES
U values are used in measuring heat transfer to determine how thermally efficient a product is. The lower the U value the more efficient the product at retaining rather than transferring heat.
Standard air filled sealed units have a U value of 2.8 which means most of your heat will transfer through the glass to the outside in the winter which of course will lead to higher fuel bills.

Manufactured using soft coated Low E glass which has a neutral tint when compared to K glass which has a pronounced tint Triple Shield also offers a higher light transmission and a lower solar gain or in other words, helps retain your heat during the winter and helps to keep solar heat out in the summer.
The surface temperature of the glass is much higher than standard double glazing so furniture can be placed closer to the glass area without discomfort in the winter which is especially important in conservatories where furniture is almost always closer to the glass area.
Soft coat Low E glass is used as standard throughout continental Europe because of it’s exceptional high performance properties when compared to K glass.

| Light transmittance (%) | Solar factor g EN 410 | u value W/m K | |

Specifying Triple Shield double glazing for your new conservatory ensures that you will have the most energy efficient glazing specification because it will help retain your heat in the winter and reduce solar gain in the summer. Triple Shield double glazing can also be specified for the roof of your new conservatory at extra cost.
Our new Heritage Horns can be added to top opening sliding sash windows with modern PVCu windows to retain a traditional appearance.
