The Edwardian adds light and space and introduces a sense of architectural grandeur.
Edwardian conservatories are probably one of the most popular designs of conservatory as the square or rectangular design makes the most effective use of your floor space whilst retaining the traditional design of a hipped roof design. Gable End conservatories offer a clean, simple look with strong bold lines. The full square corners of the Edwardian style maximise the floor area and the flat fronted gable produce a higher roof feel.
The original conservatory concept started with the Victorian and dates back hundreds of years but still looks good today.
The Victorian is a very popular style of conservatory and has distinguished architectural features such as a bay front, steeply pitched roof and ornate ridge details.

For those that prefer the clean understated lines of a mediterranean style sunroom a lean to is the perfect choice.

Traditional or contemporary, a Lean to is ideal for properties with limited space under the eaves or an awkward area in which to fit a conservatory. The pitch of the roof is variable, so that a shallow pitch could fit under a low bungalow roof, whilst a steeper pitch would match the roof of a terraced house.

The traditional style of conservatory is the sun lounge or lean to, which is probably one of the most cost effective styles. These are usually rectangular on plan with a mono pitch roof although hips can be placed at the ends of the roof to give greater character.
